This shop is conducted by the Belmont Highton Baptist Church, shop 5 / 120 High Street Belmont on the right before you get to the Regent Street Lights and Aldi. Lovely ladies to serve you and a good assortment of clothes , especially ties as that is what I am looking for at the ,moment .

A walk away is the Scout Shop ,they have Costume Hire and a good range of everything. 110 High Street Belmont opposite Tasman meats.

and over the road beside the Video Hire shop you will find the Lifeline Shop123 High Street Belmont . These shops are a walk away from each other . They all do good business, with friendly helpful ladies.
Now down to Francis Street Belmont to the Kalkee Op Shop . This shop is very well set out and they always have a lot of pictures so if you are looking for frames this is the place to go. At the moment they have some nice tapestries that would make up into nice bags .
Then along to the Salvation Army Thrift shop. This is not like the big Salvation Army shops , this one is run by the Belmont Salvation Army Church.  It is a large shop with all items set out well and plenty of room to see what is on offer. 17 Settlement Road Belmont before you get to Spotlight.

Settlement Road meets up with Torquay Road and on Torquay Road you will find the Brotherhood of Laurence large Furniture and everything , yes everything else shop.

And last but not least further aonog Torquay Road, just passed the corner of Reserve Road is the Grovedale Uniting Church Op Shop A small crowded shop, where the ladies are ever so helpful . This is run by the Church which I attend and this shop like the others help to make the lives of those less fortunate to survive.  The duty of care provided from the sales from all these shops is a wonderful mission statement .

Belmont ,Grovedale, Marshall, suburbs have many Retirement Villages, and with down sizing comes the need to get rid off all that unwanted stuff, and for crafters the op shops are paradise. I hope you enjoyed my little photo shoot as I was looking for Men's  Ties for cushions.
